What is a Men's Shed?
 Men’s Sheds originated in Australia in the 1990’s and the model has since been adopted successfully for use throughout the UK.  The Shed is a larger community-scale version of the typical man’s shed in the garden.  It is a place for making and mending, a place where the person feels comfortable enough to pursue practical interests with like-minded people.  A place that is safe and friendly, where skills can be shared.

The aim of the project is to provide a place where people from the community can come together to work on projects.

Fe ddechreuodd Men’s Sheds yn Awstralia yn y 1990au ac ers hynny mae’r model wedi cael ei fabwysiadu ledled y DU.  Mae'r sied yn fersiwn fwy cymunedol na'r sied rydych chi'n debygol o ffeindio yn yr ardd.  Mae'n lle ar gyfer creu a thrwsio a lle mae pobl yn gallu teimlo'n ddigon cyfforddus i ddilyn diddordebau a rhannu sgiliau.

Bwriad y prosiect yw i gynnig lle gall pobl o'r gymuned ddod at ei gilydd i weithio ar brosiectau personol a chymunedol.
