​Good Afternoon Shedders,

Just to remind you that we are boating on the Clydach Canal tomorrow morning at 10am.  We can meet by the canoe shed, turn left as you go through the gates and walk down the path and you will see us.

ITV Wales have been in touch this afternoon and confirmed they will be coming to film us, how exciting is that?!  If you do not want to be filmed then please let us know.  As well as filming on the towpath they will be getting in a boat and filming from there.  It should be great fun.

The boats are very secure as they have been adapted for people with disabilities so please do not think they are only for the most agile person.  To give you an example, you all know my mother, she has mobility issues but last year she was in a double kayak on her way to Trebanos via the canal.  By using the disability supports my mother was able to get in and out of the double kayak.  Come and see for yourself and give it a go.

Coffee, tea and cake will be available at the side of the canal, we are taking the tea urn as we did last year.

I hope you can all make it to either go boating or to come and spectate, it will be fun.
